Installation program hangs forever with a 'Please Wait...' message.

Cause

The installation program begins running in a window. Windows 95 (98) then switches it to full-screen mode temporarily for the logo screen, and then puts it back into a window. This last mode switch is handled incorrectly, and Windows 95 (98) stops updating the window, causing the program to appear to have hung on a message saying “Please Wait...”.

Resolution

At any point while running the installation program, simply press ALT+ENTER to tell Windows to switch the program to full-screen mode. The screen will be updated and program execution will continue from where it left off.

This incompatibility is corrected in the latest version of the ZONG for DOS Installer (ZONG 1.21 or above).
